Our History

Continuum started with the revolutionary notion that innovation could arise from a concern for human beings. We believed it wasn’t only the domain of science and technology, but could be found by crossing boundaries. Disciplinary boundaries. We sought to "do well by doing good."

Gianfranco
Zaccai

Gianfranco co-founded Continuum in 1983. This one-of-a-kind studio championed a holistic, integrated approach to research, design, and development to bring new-to-the-world products and services to life. His vision lives on in EPAM Continuum’s cutting-edge work. By importing such concepts as design thinking and resonance testing into EPAM’s powerful engineering culture, we created an underlying foundation for a world-class innovation practice.
