In their compelling and insightful guide, Talk, Inc.: How Trusted Leaders Use Conversation To Power Their Organizations, authors Boris Groysberg, professor of business administration at the Harvard Business School and Michael Slind, a former editor for Fast Company, outline the many ways that business leaders are using organizational conversation to guide growth. Continuum is honored to be mentioned in the book as an example of collaboration in a global organization.
In a section titled “Seeing the Future,” the authors tell the story of how Continuum harnessed the simple power of videoconferencing to create a constant, virtual link to a team member working across the country. At the time, this basic set up, affectionately referred to as the “Damien Bot” after Continuum senior designer Damien Vizcarra, was an innovative solution for the essential face-to-face time that both linked us to Damien’s work and eventually grew our business.
Congratulations to Groysberg and Slind on the release of their book. Read more about their collaboration here.
