A typical nurse is 5’ 6” tall, 47 years old, has failing eyesight, and performs multiple tasks at once. Access to patient data is critical for them to provide effective patient care but they are often limited by antiquated systems that are not designed with this user in mind.
Continuum collaborated with Mindray to create the V Series Patient Monitors, a monitor designed to provide critical information and easy access to healthcare professionals in the most chaotic environments.
Breakthrough products for the critical care industry, both the V12 and V21 are the first patient monitors to use a vertical display. This portrait orientation allows for more information to be displayed in a clear, easily readable format and these monitors take up less space in crowded critical care rooms. The V Series modules can be rotated 180 degrees to allow the cables to be run from the left or the right side of the monitor, which helps achieve the most direct access to the patient. Additionally, the V12 functions as both a bedside and portable monitor that can be easily undocked for transport. This alleviates the stress for both caregivers and patients of finding a separate transfer monitor, swapping out parameter modules, and redressing patient cables.
